the B-side of club DJs

In each episode a DJ shares a side to their music taste they rarely get to show; not a club set, not what they are usually expected to play. Step into their private world and discover what they grew up listening to, their go-to songs for singing in the shower, their musical guilty pleasures, and more. The music that plays when the after is over and it's time to go home.

Every episode is recorded as a continuous listen on SoundCloud and published as a playlist on Apple Music and YouTube Music. Follow on Instagram and check back for new episodes.

after the after · 22.08.2025 · all episodes

“As someone who has often struggled with connection in many forms, whether to my emotions, relationships or own true identity, music has persistently been the primary medium through which I could feel closeness to others, and with this gain a greater understanding of myself. For me, a queer person with a long history of mental health struggles, addiction, abuse, and alienation - hard truths that I no longer shy away from - I have always had a dichotomous connection to my greatest love, music.”
