the B-side of club DJs

In each episode a DJ shares a side to their music taste they rarely get to show; not a club set, not what they are usually expected to play. Step into their private world and discover what they grew up listening to, their go-to songs for singing in the shower, their musical guilty pleasures, and more. The music that plays when the after is over and it's time to go home.

Every episode is recorded as a continuous listen on SoundCloud and published as a playlist on Apple Music and YouTube Music. Follow on Instagram and check back for new episodes.

ATA016 with Sióg: daydreaming

after the after · 30.08.2025 · all episodes

“these are some of my favourite songs, some I’ve been listening to for years and evoke so much nostalgia, others are newer but still connected to poignant memories, of places and times and people that i no longer have access to except through music and memory. the image i chose is an analog self-portrait of my shadow on a 19th century gravestone behind one of the houses i grew up in, a kind of memento mori, which many of these songs are for me also – viscerally nostalgic reminders that life is short and beautiful and we should appreciate it while we have it.”
