the B-side of club DJs

In each episode a DJ shares a side to their music taste they rarely get to show; not a club set, not what they are usually expected to play. Step into their private world and discover what they grew up listening to, their go-to songs for singing in the shower, their musical guilty pleasures, and more. The music that plays when the after is over and it's time to go home.

Every episode is recorded as a continuous listen on SoundCloud and published as a playlist on Apple Music and YouTube Music. Follow on Instagram and check back for new episodes.

“I like love songs because everyone can relate to them, it’s a universal human experience, interpreted in a multitude of ways. I find that we as humans have mastered translating the sensations of love into music; it’s as if each one of these songs was a perfect description of the many aspects that make it up. Romance, longing, caring, sex, companionship, heartache, closeness, distance, dependance... There are many shades of love, and even more attempts to capture it musically, and I’m here for it. I packed a bunch of genres in this selection; alternative, ballads, electronic, rap, indie, latin, rock, r&b. Songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 90s and modern stuff. I find it interesting to see how the topic of love evolves through the years and across genres, yet it stays relatively the same.”
