the B-side of club DJs

In each episode a DJ shares a side to their music taste they rarely get to show; not a club set, not what they are usually expected to play. Step into their private world and discover what they grew up listening to, their go-to songs for singing in the shower, their musical guilty pleasures, and more. The music that plays when the after is over and it's time to go home.

Every episode is recorded as a continuous listen on SoundCloud and published as a playlist on Apple Music and YouTube Music. Follow on Instagram and check back for new episodes.

“You will not hear electronic beats here. After a long long beat-ing weekend, this is how I recharge my soul. The tunes and feelings in this playlist are what cleansing or refreshing my ears, heart and soul; and recalibrating my inner compass. In one of the tracks (“Insan olmaya geldim” / “Came here to be a human”), one verse says: ‘I found out that the love is the yeast of the soul.’ I think this playlist for me is a bit of that yeast. I am sure that all will find a piece in there that makes you feel a bit more, at that instant. And creating that moment is the whole point.”
