the B-side of club DJs

In each episode a DJ shares a side to their music taste they rarely get to show; not a club set, not what they are usually expected to play. Step into their private world and discover what they grew up listening to, their go-to songs for singing in the shower, their musical guilty pleasures, and more. The music that plays when the after is over and it's time to go home.

Every episode is recorded as a continuous listen on SoundCloud and published as a playlist on Apple Music and YouTube Music. Follow on Instagram and check back for new episodes.

ATA028 with Andrew Moore: Now and Always

after the after · 30.09.2025 · all episodes

“During my high school years I didn’t have many friends and got quite badly bullied so escaping into music and films was my only companion as well as my cat Blacky. Growing up in Aberdeen was quite an isolating place for me and I used to imagine what life was like outside and in bigger cities. I always knew that music and film were where I would like to work in the future. I have selected a varied list of genres from indie to 80s to classical but that all have a deep and meaningful connection to me as I grew up and discovered life through music and films. Listening back brings memories of my sad and lonely childhood but it also brings back moments of joy. Even today movies and soundtracks inspire my DJing and productions.”
