the B-side of club DJs

In each episode a DJ shares a side to their music taste they rarely get to show; not a club set, not what they are usually expected to play. Step into their private world and discover what they grew up listening to, their go-to songs for singing in the shower, their musical guilty pleasures, and more. The music that plays when the after is over and it's time to go home.

Every episode is recorded as a continuous listen on SoundCloud and published as a playlist on Apple Music and YouTube Music. Follow on Instagram and check back for new episodes.

“Music that came into my life before the love of my life, electronic dance music, did. After spending hours playing and digging through intense, mind bending records, I sometimes just need something to cool my brain down — a little safe space for my mind, my so called „Auszeit“. So, I put together a mix of tunes that bring back key memories from my life; young me playing Nintendo or zoning out in front of the TV, sitting in the backseat of the car, watching the world go by while the radio played, riding the school bus, headphones on, discovering some of my first Hip-Hop. These are the kind of melodies and rhythms that have stuck with me forever. They’re just legendary tracks to me.”
