the B-side of club DJs

In each episode a DJ shares a side to their music taste they rarely get to show; not a club set, not what they are usually expected to play. Step into their private world and discover what they grew up listening to, their go-to songs for singing in the shower, their musical guilty pleasures, and more. The music that plays when the after is over and it's time to go home.

Every episode is recorded as a continuous listen on SoundCloud and published as a playlist on Apple Music and YouTube Music. Follow on Instagram and check back for new episodes.

“Tenderness isn’t really a feeling that comes up in my usual club selection so I was very excited when I was presented with this idea. From Ambient, to Dub, to Soul, to Downtempo and Triphop, Chopped & Screwed Hip Hop, R&B and back to dreamy Breakbeats, this playlist represents my musical journey through the years purely as a listener and consumer — and as far removed as they might seem from my club selection the influence these have had I think is quite clear.”
