the B-side of club DJs

In each episode a DJ shares a side to their music taste they rarely get to show; not a club set, not what they are usually expected to play. Step into their private world and discover what they grew up listening to, their go-to songs for singing in the shower, their musical guilty pleasures, and more. The music that plays when the after is over and it's time to go home.

Every episode is recorded as a continuous listen on SoundCloud and published as a playlist on Apple Music and YouTube Music. Follow on Instagram and check back for new episodes.

“Ambient, jazz, hip-hop, rap… you name it. This selection makes up the soundtrack of my life. I rarely play electronic music when I’m at home, yet I’m constantly feeding my mind with these genres. These are the listenings of the past few years: gentle in pace but rich in depth, carrying a subtle energy that lifts the spirit and helps to fight anxious thoughts. I’m a big hip-hop and rap fan, I listen almost every day — so it felt important to include a few of my all-time favorites here, mostly a mix of French and American tracks, with old school beats. I also love jazz, not the overly technical kind, but the more fusion-oriented side, where hip-hop influences often find their way in. This playlist is organized like a series of musical chapters. Each sound has shaped me in some way, so I’m happy to share them.”
